Terms of service

Terms for the Cuttlefish website, hosted service and MCP plugin.

Effective 22 October 2026. Cuttlefish is operated by Gamma Systems Pty Ltd, Australia. These terms apply to the website, hosted service and Cuttlefish MCP plugin. A separate product agreement or customer contract governs where it specifically applies.

Authorised use

Connect only accounts, projects, machines and data you are authorised to use. Keep credentials out of prompts, source code and public configuration. Do not bypass access controls, abuse systems or infringe another person's rights. You are responsible for the workflows, inputs and external destinations you configure.

Review the current documentation and confirm availability and permissions for your account. Demonstrations and sample data are not a guarantee of your deployment's behaviour or a service-level commitment.

MCP permissions and consequential actions

Connecting a client grants only the projects and permissions approved for that connection, within your existing service access. Installing the plugin does not purchase a plan or grant access in another account. The read-only cloud plugin inspects authorised CI records; it does not grant workflow execution or administration.

Approve consequential actions separately, including starting or cancelling jobs, changing infrastructure or credentials, publishing, deleting records or sending information to another service. A tool's availability is not approval to perform an action. Review Cuttlefish's privacy policy and your AI client's policies before sharing information. Disconnection is not data deletion.

Content and external services

Cuttlefish and Gamma Systems branding, product material and third-party content remain subject to their owners' rights and applicable licences. Connecting a repository or service does not transfer ownership of its content. External services and compatible AI clients have their own terms and privacy practices.

Your rights remain

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable Australian Consumer Law guarantees. Installing or connecting this plugin does not itself create a purchase, subscription, cancellation fee or refund policy.
